Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Persons

Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Persons

St. Joseph’s Parish values and encourages the participation of children and persons who may be vulnerable in parish activities.

St. Joseph’s Parish wishes to ensure families can have confidence that all of their members are safe and respected, when participating in the life of the Church.  We do this collectively by committing ourselves to good and safe practices in accordance with Diocesan Safeguarding Policies.  These are consistent with all relevant legislation and the Standards of the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.

Comprehensive information is available on the Diocesan Website www. limerickdiocese.org and we welcome feedback and suggestions which can help us improve our safeguarding arrangements.

Any person with a safeguarding concern should contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Office
